eFG% Field goal percentage that credits the extra point of a three.

(FGM + 0.5 × 3PM) ÷ FGAWhat it means
A player who shoots 40% from three is producing more points per attempt than one shooting 50% from two. eFG% makes that comparable by giving made threes one and a half times the weight of made twos.
It ignores free throws, which is what separates it from true shooting. Use eFG% to judge shot-making, TS% to judge total scoring efficiency.
